Emerald Valley Golf Course in Oregon has hosted US Open qualifiers, US Amateur qualifiers, OGA Championships, PNGA Championships, and OSAA Championships — a tournament record that reflects the course's standing in the Pacific Northwest. The 18-hole public layout runs along the coast fork of the Willamette River, with tree-lined fairways framing the route. Oregon Business ranked it #1 of 71 courses in Oregon from the back tees in October 2005, and the Oregon Golf Association named it Golf Course of the Year in 2004. Practice is handled by one of the premier practice facilities in the Northwest. The clubhouse includes an elegant indoor event center and an outdoor gazebo.
