Elanora Country Club

Elanora Country Club, founded in October 1928, is an 18-hole course set in Elanora Heights, New South Wales, with a natural coastal character its members have long described as a home by the sea. A major redevelopment approved in 2000 reshaped the course significantly. The back nine was rebuilt first, reopening in May 2003, followed by the front nine in April 2004 — timed to mark the club's 75th anniversary. Key changes included a new 17th hole, a revised order of play for the second nine, and adjustments to the front nine that converted the 6th into a par five and the 7th into a par three to better balance the two halves. All fairways were re-grassed with couch, and every green was rebuilt and laid with hybrid A1 bentgrass. The redevelopment also added a substantial practice facility, reversed the 1st and 9th holes, and incorporated environmental wetlands into the layout.
