El Desafío Mountain Resort

Ranked among the top 100–200 courses globally by Top 100 Golf Courses and included in Golf Digest's 10 best courses in Argentina, El Desafío Mountain Resort carries significant recognition for a nine-hole layout in Neuquén, Argentina. Designed by Greg Norman, the course moves through dense pine forest on the lower holes before opening into meadows on the upper holes, where views of the Andes and Cordón Chapelco define the setting. Tom Doak rated it the highest course in South America and among the top 10 most original on the American continent. Hole 3, a par 3, was designed with particular care to work with the natural scenery around it. The course is part of a resort property, making it accessible to visiting golfers staying on site.
