El Cid Golf & Country Club

El Cid Golf & Country Club in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico is a 27-hole layout designed by Lee Trevino and opened in 1972. The course plays to par 72 across three nine-hole combinations, with yardage ranging from 2,243 to 3,457 yards depending on the configuration. Fairways are framed by palms, pinon, rubber, and capiros trees, with Bermuda grass greens and water hazards on multiple holes. Wildlife — birds, turtles, and iguanas — is present throughout the property. Signature holes include a 611-yard par-5 known as 'The Monster' and a par-3 with water running down the right side. El Cid Golf & Country Club has hosted Canadian Tour events, México PGA tournaments, México Professional Tour competitions, and the México Golf Federation for Children & Youth. A driving range and practice putting/chipping green sit beside the clubhouse. The clubhouse includes the Prime Grill Restaurant for fine dining, a Hole 19 sports bar serving beverages and snacks, a Sushi Bar, a pro shop with staff assistance, locker rooms, a fitness facility, and a spa.
