The par-3 18th at East Herts Golf Club finishes directly beneath a large clubhouse balcony, making it one of the more watched closing holes on any parkland course in England. Designed by J H Taylor and James Braid and opened in 1899, the course plays to par 71 over 6,440 yards from the men's tees and 5,521 yards from the ladies'. Rolling parkland, ancient trees, and undulating greens define the layout throughout its 18 holes. Facilities include a large restaurant, two bars, a well-stocked pro shop, a Halfway Hut situated in the heart of the course, and a new short game practice area. Rated 4.8 by 60+ Hole19 golfers.
