Eagle Rock Golf Club

Eagle Rock Golf Club is an 18-hole public course set across 180 acres in Defiance, Ohio, and one of the most-played courses in Ohio on Hole19. Unlike the flat terrain typical of northwest Ohio, the course features rolling hills, elevation changes, tree-lined fairways, water features, and a winding creek. The layout suits a range of players, from casual golfers to those looking for a genuine test. Eagles from a nearby nest on the Maumee River at Independence Dam State Park are occasionally spotted overhead. The signature hole is the 18th, a par-4 dogleg with rolling hills and an undulated green set in a valley. Golfers playing their approach and putting can be watched from Sweetwater Chophouse, a restaurant located on the top floor of the clubhouse. Eagle Rock was formerly the private Kettenring Country Club and is now open to the public, with a variety of membership options available.
