Hole 16 at Eagle Crest Resort has been cited as one of Detroit's Dream 18 Most Memorable Holes — a distinction that points to the quality of this public 18-hole, par-72 layout in Ypsilanti Charter Township, Michigan. Designed by Karl Litten and Jim Lipe and opened in 1989, the course plays alongside Ford Lake and has been ranked #5 among Metro Detroit public courses by the Detroit Free Press (August 2022) and #9 nationally in the Golfers Choice 2025 Top 20 College Golf Course Rankings. Hole19 golfers rate it 4.7, and it is one of the most-played courses in Michigan on Hole19. Practice options include a three-tiered driving range overlooking Ford Lake, a putting green, a pitching and chipping area, and the Craig Piscopink Golf Academy with private lessons available through a PGA Teaching Academy on site. The Eagle Crest Lakeview Restaurant & Bar is open to the public daily from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The clubhouse also includes locker rooms, a banquet facility, an outdoor patio, and four TrackMan Golf Simulator Bays.
