Douglas Park Golf Club

Douglas Park Golf Club is a private parkland course in Bearsden, Scotland, opened in 1903 and designed by Willie Fernie. It plays to par 72 across 18 holes, stretching between 6,205 and 6,625 yards. Hole 4 is noted as one of the toughest and most picturesque on the course. Hole 8 is the Stroke Index 1 hole at 433 yards uphill, and hole 13 is the only green on the course not guarded by bunkers. Practice options include an artificial high-spec putting green available year-round and an indoor swing studio in the Professional Shop, where a PGA Professional offers lessons. The clubhouse provides a full range of hot meals and snacks, catering for lone diners through to large parties. The Snug Bar is fully licensed with a comprehensive range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The main lounge on the first floor has a panoramic view of the Campsie Hills, and a refurbished balcony overlooks the 18th. The clubhouse has full disabled access including ramps and an internal lift, plus free WiFi and ample parking.
