The course has hosted the SA Ladies Open, Sunshine Tour events, Provincial Opens, Interprovincial tournaments, Ernie Els Foundation events, SA Open Qualifiers, Interschools, and Senior Opens. It is rated 4.3 by 100+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Western Cape. A driving range and practice area are available on site, along with private and group lessons with PGA Golf Pro Anna Becker. The proshop stocks estate wines and golf accessories. Chez Shiraz restaurant looks out over the course and the vineyards of the Bottelary Valley, and a halfway house with terraced bar and lounge is also on the property.
