Delray Beach Golf Club

Delray Beach Golf Club is a historic Donald Ross design in Delray Beach, Florida, and a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Florida. The City of Delray Beach purchased the land in 1923, and a nine-hole course opened in 1926. It closed during World War II, reopened in 1945, and expanded to a full 18 holes when a second nine was added in 1950. Touring professionals traveling to Miami would stop to play the Ross layout, and at its peak it was ranked among the top ten courses in the country. LPGA Hall of Famer Betty Jameson, a long-time Delray resident, praised its accurate measurement, excellent fairways, and exceptional drainage. Today the course operates as an accessible public venue that welcomes golfers of all skill levels, carrying more than a century of history with every round.
