Delhi Hills Par 3 Golf Course in Delhi, Ohio has a history that sets it apart from most layouts. Brothers Len and Joe Macke opened it in 1958 after purchasing the former 17-acre farm a year earlier to bring Len's long-held dream of owning a golf course to life. The course design has an origin story worth knowing. One evening at Maury's Tiny Cove, Len sketched the entire layout on a paper napkin. The brothers moved quickly from that sketch to breaking ground, and with little access to modern machinery, most of the construction was done by hand. Today the course offers 9 holes of par-3 golf, carrying forward a piece of local history built through genuine effort.
