Crown Colony Country Club

Crown Colony Country Club, a semi-private 18-hole course in Lufkin, Texas, was designed by Robert von Hagge and Bruce Devlin and opened in 1979. The layout moves through towering pines and rolling terrain, with water hazards and bunkers adding challenge throughout the routing. Two holes carry particular distinction: hole 3 is ranked among the top 500 holes in the world, and hole 17 has been voted one of the toughest holes in Texas. Practice options include an expansive driving range and a dedicated short game area. The pro shop offers club fittings, equipment selection, and apparel. The Clubhouse Dining Room provides full-service dining, while Arthur's Tavern is the main bar with views of the course and practice facilities. Additional amenities include locker rooms, patio dining, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, and a seasonal swimming pool.
