Crosland Heath Golf Club

Crosland Heath Golf Club, a private heathland course in Linthwaite, England, plays to 18 holes at par 68. Designed by Alister MacKenzie, the layout is built across free-draining ground with firm fairways and old quarries that shape several holes. Five par 3s — at holes 2, 9, 12, 14, and 17 — are each built around those quarries, making them a recurring test of precision throughout the round. Practice facilities include a covered driving range with targets from 50 to 250 yards, a double-tiered putting green alongside the clubhouse, and a short-game area with bunkers and a chipping green up to 60 yards. The clubhouse dining room and 19th bar serve freshly prepared, locally sourced produce every day except Monday, with an extensive bar menu and daily specials. The lounge bar has draught beers, wines, and spirits, and a patio overlooking the 18th green is open during summer. The Pro Shop stocks Titleist, Ping, TaylorMade, Callaway, Mizuno, and several other brands.
