Craggan Golf Course

Craggan Golf Course is a well-maintained 9-hole par 3 layout set beside the River Spey in Scotland, with views toward the Cromdale Hills and the Cairngorms. Designed to suit all standards of play, it works equally well for beginners, younger and older golfers, and low handicappers looking to sharpen their short game. Hole lengths range from 111 to 132 yards on five holes, through three holes between 148 and 162 yards, up to the 5th — Gaich — the longest on the course at 209 yards, where the fairway climbs around 40 feet to a hilltop green. Total yardage for the 9 holes is 1,269 yards. The greens are cut daily during the season and are a clear point of pride. The course surrounds a trout fishery, bringing a few water hazards into play, and ospreys are often spotted hunting over the water. Roe deer, hares, up to six species of wild duck, and a variety of other birds are regularly seen on the course.
