Country Club of Buffalo

A private 18-hole course in New York, United States, Country Club of Buffalo sits on terrain shaped by the Onondaga escarpment, a limestone quarry, and a natural rock garden. Donald Ross designed the layout, which opened in 1926 and ranks among the Top 100 Classic Golf Courses in America. The quarry leaves a mark on the par-three 6th hole, which plays entirely within its walls. The 18th hole sits below a massive natural rock garden, with plantings leading up to the clubhouse. Both holes reflect the geological character that runs through the property. The course has hosted the 1912 U.S. Open, the 1931 U.S. Women's Amateur, the 1950 Curtis Cup Match, the 1962 U.S. Girls' Junior, and has the 2027 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur and 2032 U.S. Senior Amateur scheduled ahead. The clubhouse includes a restaurant with a diverse array of dining spaces, accommodation rooms, and a swimming pool.
