Costa Caribe Golf & Country Club, designed by Bruce A. Besse, Jr., is a 27-hole championship course in Ponce, Puerto Rico, set between the Caribbean Sea and the Central Mountains. The layout features several oceanfront holes with Caribbean views, 14 man-made lakes, and four sets of tees with yardages ranging from 5,201 to 6,937. Forced carries are few, making the course a fair challenge for recreational golfers while still testing the more skilled player. The signature 12th hole is a par 3 featuring Puerto Rico's first island green. Players must carry to a generous island target while contending with the prevailing Caribbean breeze — an extra club is usually wise. Course conditions are maintained year-round.

But unfortunately is in very bad conditions and look to have poor maintenance particularly the greens and the sand traps. Also some fairways are dry and have many spots without grass. Please need attention urgently to prevent more deterioration. 🙌🏼💯🇵🇷

Stewart PerryJanuary 09, 2022For a place that looks like it could be beautiful, it is disappointing to realize that the surroundings are greener than the course is. Multiple dead spots on the greens. Looks as if the head grounds keeper has been off for a month or two.
Mannu CorderoOctober 24, 2019Disappointed with this formerly state of the art golf course. Fairways are terrible, bunkers are literally “traps”, greens are contaminated with weed grass and no kart service available during the whole day. Can add a very Positive comment about the nice course design and its challenging conditions. Anyway I recommend this course to anyone that want a fair golf experience.
