Coral Creek Golf Course

Coral Creek Golf Course, designed by Robin Nelson and opened in 1999, was the last Hawaii course to open in the twentieth century — and the first in the state to use Seashore Paspalum grass throughout its 18 holes. Set on leeward Oahu, the layout meanders through relatively level terrain where trade winds play a constant role. Nelson's design manages those conditions cleverly, making the course fair and enjoyable across all skill levels. Short rough and grain-free putting surfaces mean success comes down to reading line and speed. The course plays to 6,808 yards at par 72. Standout holes include the short par-4 12th, fronted by Lake Nelson, and the par-3 10th, which features a 30-foot waterfall. The most demanding test is the par-5 14th — a 636-yard hole played directly into the prevailing trade wind that will push even long hitters to their limits.
