Description
Concra Wood Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course in County Monaghan, Ireland, designed by Christy O'Connor Junior and Senior and opened in 2008. The layout moves through drumlins, wooded terrain, and alongside Lough Muckno. Water is a recurring presence: hole 3 sweeps toward a lakeside green, hole 4 is a double-dogleg par five with a water-protected approach, hole 8 drops from the tee and arcs up through a valley, and holes 15 and 16 each require a tee shot across the lake. Hole 10 introduces Lough Muckno directly, and hole 12 is a par three regarded as a match for any in Ireland. Aer Lingus included the course among Ireland's best in 2021, and it is rated 4.7 by 100+ Hole19 golfers. The clubhouse includes The View Restaurant & Bar, a uniquely designed bar with panoramic views, and a Pro Shop with merchandise.

The greens are really fast and in a great condition as well as the rest of the course. It was one of the nicest courses I have ever played even that my golf was terrible that day.
