Clyne Golf Club

Clyne Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 moorland course in Mayals, Wales, playing between 5,354 and 6,432 yards. Designed by Harry Colt and opened in 1921, the layout moves across undulating ground with rolling fairways, pot bunkers, gorse and bracken, and natural hazards throughout. The course appears in Peter Alliss's 200 Best Golf Courses in the British Isles, ranks 13th in Wales by National Club Golfer/Top 100 Courses, and holds a top-30 Wales ranking from Golf World. It has hosted the Welsh Women's Team Championships, the Glamorgan Men's County Championship, the Glamorgan County Junior Championship, and the Wales Under 16s and 14s Girls and Boys Championships. Rated 4.5 by 50+ Hole19 golfers, it is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Wales. The semi-private club's restaurant and lounge area feature panoramic windows overlooking the 9th and 18th greens, carry a five-star food hygiene rating, and offer catering throughout the week except Mondays. A bar with a refreshed menu is also available, with a members' discount on drinks.
