Description
Set among the Aravalli foothills in Haryana, India, Classic Golf & Country Club is a Jack Nicklaus-designed private course playing across 27 holes of hillocks, knolls, and water bodies along the fairways. Each of the three 9-hole loops measures between 3,135 and 3,575 yards, with a combined par of 108. Hole 11, a par 3 of close to 225 yards from the black tee, consistently plays over par. The course has hosted the Indian Open, the Panasonic Open India (November 2019), and the Classic Golf & Country Club International Championship (September 2019). It is rated 4.6 by 60+ Hole19 golfers. Practice facilities include a driving range over 350 yards long with grass bays for more than 70 players, a putting green laid with the same grass as the course accommodating more than 18 holes, and separate chipping, pitching, and bunker areas. Certified professionals are on hand for coaching. The 19th Hole bar on the ground floor serves spirits from across the globe. The clubhouse also includes a pro shop and golf academy, locker rooms, and a meeting room called Albatross on the first floor.
