Description
Christina Lake Golf Club is an 18-hole course in British Columbia, Canada, designed by Les Furber and expanded to its current 6,785-yard layout in 1986. Furber's signature style is evident throughout, with elevated tees, strategically placed bunkers, multi-tiered greens, and four holes featuring water hazards. The course holds a notable distinction as the first in Canada to feature black sand traps. It is regarded as one of the top 25 courses in British Columbia. The signature 9th hole is a 215-yard par three played from an elevated tee down to a green flanked by two sand traps on the right and a lateral water hazard running the full length of its left side. Set along the scenic Kettle River, the layout is framed by ponderosa pine and fir trees, with the Monashee and Selkirk Mountains forming a striking backdrop.
