Chestnut Ridge Golf Course (Chestnut Ridge) sits in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands, a resort course set across rolling terrain with views of the surrounding highlands. Designed by Harrison/Garbin and opened in 1964, the 18-hole layout has earned a Golf Digest Places to Play 4½-star rating, a Golf Digest good service award, and a Golf Digest good value award. Hole 14 is a standout: the green is supported above a lake by a rock-faced wall. A shared driving range is available for warm-up. The clubhouse includes the Restaurant at Chestnut Ridge, open for lunch and dinner, and the Spike Bar, which serves cold beer, appetizers, and food and drink specials on a patio overlooking the course. A Pro Shop offers credits for prize merchandise, with locker room facilities and banquet spaces also on site.
