Description
Cherry Hill Club is a private 18-hole, par-72 course in Fort Erie, Ontario, Canada, designed by Walter J. Travis and opened in 1922. The layout carries several holes with distinct character. Hole 3 features a deep swale cutting diagonally across the putting surface. Hole 8 plays from a signature elevated tee and is rated the number one handicap hole on the course. Hole 9 is a long, uphill par 3 built in redan style with a deep bunker on the left. Hole 11 ranks among the two most difficult par threes on any course, and hole 15 is a dogleg left with a large pond framing the entire left side. Cherry Hill Club has hosted the 1972 Canadian Open Championship and the 1982 Canadian PGA Tournament. The clubhouse includes dining with menus developed from scratch, naturally leavened sourdough stone-fired pizzas, and refined seasonal features. The Halfway House serves breakfast, lunch, or quick refreshment at the turn. A Professional Shop offers a curated selection of premium merchandise from leading manufacturers.
