Hole 9 is a 180-yard par 3 played over a large ravine, while hole 7 leaves no bail-out option. Hole 18 closes the round with a line to the flag that invites a hole in one. An Academy Membership is available for those looking to develop their game. Reis JonesJune 28, 2020Lovely challenging course with significant undulation on the vast majority of holes, plenty of well positions bunkers, tight tree lined fairways & tricky greens. Scores card doesn’t appear that long, but several strong par 4s protect the course & shooting around your handicap at this course is always challenging, especially when the course rating is 1.3 shots above its par of 68. The course & clubhouse have had significant investment over the last few years & being a private members club all money goes on improving the course. I’ve been part of the club for over 6 years & it really is up there with the best courses in Essex.

Marcus BaconSeptember 14, 2017Don’t come if you’re not a member, no priority for you. Had a 5 hour round with a bunch of slow swindle players ahead - unoriginal course with only 1 par 5, quite boring to play
