Castle Creek Country Club

Castle Creek Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72 course in San Diego, California, designed by Jack Daray — whose credits include Olympia Fields Country Club, host of the 2003 U.S. Open — and founded in 1948. Oak-lined fairways, white sand bunkers, and undulating greens define the layout, with Moosa Creek crossing into play at intervals to add challenge throughout the round. The signature 14th hole is deceptively demanding, while the 10th, 11th, and 12th form an up-and-downhill stretch widely regarded as among the toughest sequences in the county. Five sets of tees accommodate a wide range of players, from the black tees at 6,638 yards to the green tees at 4,706 yards. Practice areas, golf lessons, clinics, and tournament packages are all available on site. The temperate, sunny climate of San Diego keeps the course open and playable year-round.
