Carolina Golf Club

Carolina Golf Club has hosted the 2018 U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship, the 2014 North Carolina Amateur Championship, and the 2011 Carolina's Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship — a tournament record that reflects the standing of this private 18-hole course in Charlotte, North Carolina. Designed by Donald J. Ross and opened in 1929, the layout carries the measured fairway shaping and green contours that define Ross's work across the Carolinas. The club has also hosted Wells Fargo Championship PGA Tour qualifying tournaments and City Amateur Championships. Practice options include an expansive driving range and a short game area, both private to members. The clubhouse has received updates to the dining room and bar, and a covered patio with a fire pit overlooks the Uptown Charlotte skyline.
