Caledonian Golf Club

Caledonian Golf Club, a semi-private links course in Sanbu District, Chiba Prefecture, Japan, opened in 1990 and plays to par 72 across 18 holes, with yardage options ranging from 2,714 to 7,144 yards. The wide yardage spread makes the course accessible from the forward tees while stretching to a genuine test from the tips. On-course snack shops at holes 5 and 14 keep play moving without a full stop. Practice facilities are a particular strength. A donut-shaped putting green allows a full lap circuit, and a dedicated short-game area includes two green surfaces, three bunkers, and a variety of approach situations — both exclusive to the club. The clubhouse includes separate men's and women's locker rooms, large bath facilities with sauna and cold bath, powder rooms, and a lounge used for awards ceremonies.
