Buxton & High Peak Golf Club

Set on free-draining limestone terrain in England, United Kingdom, Buxton & High Peak Golf Club is an inland links course that has been in play since 1887. Designed by J. Morris, the 18-hole layout plays to par 69 from 5,877 yards off the white tees across gently undulating ground shaped by quarries and bunkers. Several holes stand out for their character. The par-4 4th carries danger over a quarry in the middle of the hole. The par-4 5th plays to a hidden green with out of bounds right, while the par-3 6th features a large bunker that obscures the putting surface. The course is rated 4.5 by 70+ Hole19 golfers. As a semi-private club, visiting golfers are welcome. The clubhouse restaurant serves homemade cuisine ranging from simple snacks to a full three-course meal, and the bar carries an extensive range of beers, including real ales, wines and spirits. A function room is available for private events, and on-site parking is provided.
