Burstwick Country Golf is a semi-private 18-hole course in England, United Kingdom, designed by Jonathan Gaunt and opened in 2004. The layout incorporates water hazards and bunkers throughout its routing. Practice options are strong here. A 12-bay Toptracer Driving Range sits on site, alongside the Matt Daley Golf Academy, which runs two Trackman Golf Studios for lessons and fitting. The refurbished pro shop features smart cabinet displays and a custom club fitting studio. The clubhouse includes Nineteen Restaurant, which serves home-made cooking in a relaxed atmosphere and is open to the public, backed by a contemporary bar. A video room and locker rooms are also available. The course has hosted the Faldo Futures Tournament, the Captain's Charity Am-Am, and the Matt Daley Golf Academy Fundraising Am-Am. Tom GreenJune 13, 2026Very tidy course. You check in at a hybrid bar and pro shop. Course is pleasantly quiet on weekend afternoons. It is very well manicured with smooth greens and is very aesthetic with its water hazards and trees. It is a somewhat forgiving course but wind is felt more here than at most courses.
Brendan CampbellJuly 03, 2024A wonderful course. Short and well looked after. Green keepers were out mowing most of the morning. So the course was in excellent condition. However, we felt we were being chaperoned at times. A little off putting. This is a young course - 2004. Trees are still being planted so it has some way to go before it reaches maturity. I am sure it will look even better given time. Obviously some thought has been put into the design. Compared to other courses in the area, this one stands out and is the course of the week for us. A mixture of patkland and lakes make for interesting golf. There are a few surprises out there. The staff are friendly helpful and the beer was good. Well worth the £20 we paid to play. Worth twice as much
