Burghley Park Golf Club

The layout rolls across limestone-founded ground with trees framing the fairways throughout the 18 holes. Three holes stand out on the back nine: the par-4 12th plays past the historic Carpenter's Lodge; the par-3 13th runs uphill with out-of-bounds tightening the left side; and the par-4 14th is regarded as the toughest hole on the course. Practice facilities include a large ground with grass surfaces and an all-weather hitting area, two hitting nets, a high-quality putting green, a large chipping green, two practice bunkers, and a covered teaching bay for wet-weather lessons. Range balls are available from a dispensing machine near the Pro Shop using tokens sold in the shop. The Mark James Bar is open to members, guests, and visitors for food and drink, with live sports on screens and pool available. A dedicated dining area serves hot and cold snacks, breakfasts, bar meals, and can host lunch parties, evening functions, and wedding receptions.
