Bundoran Golf Club

Rated 4.7 by Hole19 golfers and one of the most-played courses in County Donegal on Hole19, Bundoran Golf Club has a reputation that holds up against the facts. Designed by Harry Vardon and opened in 1894, this 18-hole, par-70 links sits on a clifftop headland in County Donegal, Ireland, with the North West Atlantic Ocean and the Dartry Mountains as its backdrop. Hole 11, a par 4, illustrates the setting well — elevated and undulating, with views across the Atlantic coastline. The course is semi-private and has hosted the West Coast Challenge. Practice facilities include a putting green and a short game area, both located to the side of the clubhouse. The Pro Shop is on site. The 19th Hole restaurant sits upstairs overlooking the 18th green, serving tea, coffee, sandwiches, and a full bar. The bar operates daily from May to October, with reduced hours from November to April.
