Briar Bay Golf Course

Briar Bay Golf Course is a par-31, 9-hole executive course set on thirty acres in Kendall, Florida, eight blocks west of US 1 and north of SW 136th Street. Designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert Von Hagge, the course was built in 1974 by developer Alec Courtelis and opened for play in January 1975. The Miami-Dade Parks Department acquired it in 1979 and has operated it ever since. The routing winds west, north, east, west, south, and east again before returning to the clubhouse. With over 40,000 rounds played each year, Briar Bay draws a wide range of golfers — from beginners to experienced players — making it one of the more active public courses in the area.
