Host of the 2022 Vermont Amateur Championship and the 2023 Vermont Senior Amateur Championship, Brattleboro Country Club in Brattleboro, Vermont carries genuine competitive credentials for an 18-hole layout that dates to 1914 and was shaped by Tom McNamara, Wayne Stiles, and Steve Durkee. The course plays across rolling Vermont hills, with elevated tee shots and uphill treks built into the routing. Hole 2 is a par-5 that climbs a hill before bending right onto a narrow fairway strip. Hole 6 is a drivable par-4, hole 7 offers par-5 risk-reward, and hole 11 is a long par-4. Yardage runs from 5,051 to 6,533 yards. Practice options include three putting greens, a short game area with two bunkers, and instruction through PGA Junior Golf Camps and lessons with Michael Zaranek, PGA Director of Golf.
