Bowood Golf & Country Club

Designed by Dave Thomas, Bowood Golf & Country Club is a semi-private 18-hole course set in Wiltshire, England, routing through valleys, streams, and woodland. Holes range from 388 to 573 yards, and the layout is the only PGA Golf Course in the South West. Hole 8 is a sharp dogleg with water guarding the left side. Rated 4.6 by 100+ Hole19 golfers, it ranks as one of the most-played courses in England on Hole19. Practice facilities include a floodlit, covered driving range open to all with no booking required, plus a performance studio with golf simulator technology where PGA professionals offer tailored lessons. The Shelburne Restaurant holds two AA Rosettes and serves locally sourced Wiltshire breakfasts, seasonal lunch menus, elegant evening dining, Sunday lunches, and Bowood Afternoon Tea. The Clubhouse Bar runs an Italian-inspired tapas menu with alfresco dining on a terrace overlooking the Wiltshire countryside, open daily from 7:30am to 8:30pm. A Halfway House is also open daily from 9:30am through mid-afternoon.
