Bloomington Downs Golf Course

Bloomington Downs Golf Course, designed by Robert Heaslip and opened in 1989, is a public 18-hole, par-72 layout in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Stretching to 6,442 yards, the course plays through tree-lined fairways with elevated greens and water coming into play on four holes. Two holes stand out. The par-5 6th plays 540 yards and rewards a well-placed drive and solid second shot with a birdie opportunity. The par-5 18th is a 455-yard dogleg left that asks for a risk/reward decision all the way to the crown of the green. Practice options are extensive: a 20-acre driving range with nine target greens, two putting greens, and a short game area with bunkers. The Golf Shop carries men's and women's apparel, footwear, balls, gloves, and more. Rated 4.3 by Hole19 golfers, Bloomington Downs is one of the most-played courses in Ontario on Hole19.
