  Affordable golf! Nestled in a fantastic little part of the Essex countryside This is a cracking little course, which I find great for my short game. It can be slow at peak times but I do not find that a problem (I play quite fast) The greens are in very good shape and after playing here through summer, the green keepers have done a pro job on keeping the course looking as nice as it does and the greens in ace condition, considering there was little rain this year. I have played a few rounds here now and I must say it is a very good course and at a very reasonable price per 9 and 18 The clubhouse is immaculate and the staff are all very friendly and helpful, they a provide a great service. You can sit with a drink at the end and watch everyone else finishing on the 9th/18th.

  Lovely scenic course with plenty of water and challenging trees. Well kept course with great greens. Reasonably fast pace of play. Friendly staff and members, and relaxed atmosphere.

  Very challenging course ....... you really need to be able to shape the ball and have good course management. Lots of doglegs and overhanging trees. Not too many outings for the Driver. Oh and the oob is usually a minefield. Greens are true. Staff friendly and food is excellent.
