Big Oaks Golf Course

Big Oaks Golf Course is a public 27-hole facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, conveniently situated halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago — two miles east of I-94 at the corner of Green Bay Road and Russell Road, right on the Illinois-Wisconsin state line. The facility is made up of three distinct 9-hole courses. The East Course, designed by Rolf Campbell and opened in 1987, features wide fairways and large greens. The North Course, also by Campbell and opened in 1991, plays shorter with meandering creeks throughout. The South Course, designed by Dick Nugent and opened in 2001, offers oak-lined fairways and several holes that will test even the longest hitters. With 27 holes spread across three separate layouts, pace of play is rarely a concern — each course typically clocks in at around two hours. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Wisconsin.
