Beauchief Golf Club

Beauchief Golf Club is a meadowland course in the south west of Sheffield, with views toward the hills of the Peak District and the historic Beauchief Abbey forming a prominent feature on the landscape. The 18-hole layout follows an out-and-back format, meaning the 10th tee sits at the furthest point from the clubhouse — part-course rounds are not an option. A stream crosses several holes, one par 3 plays over a pond, and trees line and divide the course throughout. Bunkers are few but well placed. While the course is not considered especially long, scoring to handicap proves harder than expected. The par 3s are demanding, several par 4s test accuracy, and men play just one par 5. Precise approach play is the key to a good round. Beauchief Golf Club is one of the most-played courses in England on Hole19, and is rated 4.2 by Hole19 golfers.
