Bear Lakes Country Club (Lakes)

Bear Lakes Country Club (Lakes) is an 18-hole, parkland-style private course in West Palm Beach, Florida, designed by Jack Nicklaus and opened in 1984. The layout carries several of Nicklaus's architectural signatures. Hole 3 is a par-5 of just over 500 yards from the back tee with a bunker placed in the middle of the fairway. Hole 7, the number-one handicap hole, runs water up the right side and pairs two fairway bunkers along the left. The par-4 18th closes on a double green framed by deep greenside bunkers. The club has hosted U.S. Open qualifiers and PGA TOUR Qualifying School. Practice facilities include a double-sided driving range, four practice greens, and a teaching facility. The clubhouse features the Lakeside Lounge and Nicklaus Dining Room, both serving seasonally inspired farm-to-table menus, and a junior Olympic-sized pool.
