Battle Island State Golf Course

Battle Island State Golf Course takes its name from a mid-1700s battle fought on a nearby island in the Oswego River. The land was largely deeded to New York State by F. A. Emerick in 1916, with the remaining acreage added in 1938 when the park officially became a state park. The 18-hole course sits adjacent to the Oswego River near Fulton, New York, offering impressive river views from several fairways and greens.
