Barnbougle Golf (The Dunes)

Barnbougle Golf (The Dunes) was designed by Tom Doak and Mike Clayton and opened in 2004 as a resort course in Bridport, Tasmania, Australia. The layout runs across coastal dunes and saddles, with fairways wider than traditional courses and panoramas of the course and bay. Holes 4 and 12 each measure less than 275 metres from the back tee, while hole 8 is a par four that rewards powerful strokes combined with measured control. Practice facilities include a shared driving range, putting green, chipping green with bunkers, and teaching professionals available for instruction. The Clubhouse restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week in a casual, laid-back setting. The Clubhouse Bar and Lounge is also open seven days a week till late, with an open fire during cooler months.
