Description
Bandon Dunes Golf Resort (Sheep Ranch) is an 18-hole, par-72 layout stretching 6,636 yards along the Oregon coast, designed by Coore & Crenshaw and co-founded by Phil Friedmann and Mike Keiser. For many years, the Sheep Ranch was a mysterious golf landscape sitting just north of the main Bandon Dunes property. Its transformation into a full course brought one mile of ocean frontage into play, with nine green sites positioned right at the edge of the continent and Pacific Ocean views on every hole. The result is a course that carries on the resort's philosophy of golf as it was meant to be played — raw, coastal, and rooted in the natural terrain of the Pacific Coast.

Derek CyphersSeptember 08, 2020Beautiful and fun. 4 stars only because fairways were in surprisingly mediocre shape. Greens were excellent and fast, and course puts a premium on hitting the correct tier.
