Balmoral Golf Course

Balmoral Golf Course is a public 18-hole, par-72 layout in Minnesota, United States, open since 1961 and designed by Arnold Hemquist. The course plays between 5,010 and 6,300 yards across tree-lined fairways shaded by Oak, Maple, Pine, Ash, and Birch. Eleven bunkers and 11 water hazards are distributed across the routing. Several holes reward precise positioning: on hole 4 the fairway narrows approaching the 100-yard marker, hole 6 leaves most putts from the middle of the green running uphill, and hole 16 calls for a tee shot aimed slightly right of the 150-yard pole over a hill. Golf Digest has voted it one of Minnesota's Best Places to Play, and it was voted the Area's Favorite Golf Course in a 2004 online poll by Craig Olson Sports. It is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Minnesota. The pro shop holds a PGA award for being well-stocked, and a snack bar serving sandwiches and beverages is on site.
