Balcarrick Golf Club

Balcarrick Golf Club is a semi-private parkland course in County Dublin, Ireland, opened in 1972 and designed by Roger Jones. The layout was later redesigned to win Golf World's Hall of Fame Award for Best Redesign and reach the finalist stage of Golf Inc.'s 2008 Renovation of the Year. Rolling fairways move through wild grasses and reed beds, with lakes and estuary-style water features shaping several holes. The par-3 7th plays 135 metres over a lake to the green. The 14th, a par 4 of 385 metres, runs alongside a pond and finishes at a beach bunker. The closing 18th, 400 metres, requires a carry over a reeded lake from the tee before approaching a green guarded by bunkers. The Eoin Gibbons Golf Academy operates on site, and a Pro-Shop and Academy are available to visitors. Balcarrick is rated 4.5 by 100+ Hole19 golfers and is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in County Dublin.
