Bala Golf Club

Bala Golf Club is a private, 18-hole parkland course in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, stretching to 5,460 yards and designed by William S. Flynn. Opened in 1901, it hosted the 1952 U.S. Women's Open. The layout moves through rolling parkland with towering pines and meandering creeks. It is one of the most-played courses in Pennsylvania on Hole19. Practice facilities include a driving range, practice putting greens, and golf lessons with video or clinics provided by PGA Professionals. The Grill Room serves light fare, and the Members' Dining Room offers a refined dinner experience. The Grill Room Bar opens at 11 a.m. and stays open until dusk seven days a week during the season. A patio overlooks the 18th green, and professionally attended locker rooms and a fully stocked pro shop are also on site.
