Backa Säteri Golfklubb

Backa Säteri Golfklubb is an 18-hole course set in a pleasant environment just 15 minutes by car from central Göteborg, in Nödinge-Nol, Västra Götaland County. The first nine holes opened in September 2006. The course was built using modern construction techniques, including surface water drainage and sand-covered fairways with creeping bentgrass across the entire playing surface. This approach extends the playing season and keeps conditions at a high standard year-round. All bunkers are filled with marble sand, which drains more efficiently than standard bunker sand, stays light underfoot, and makes recovery shots more manageable.
