Augusta Country Club

Augusta Country Club is an 18-hole, par-70 private course in Manchester, Maine, United States, designed by Arthur G. Lockwood and opened in 1917. The layout moves through rolling, wooded terrain with elevation changes, meandering creeks with wetland grasses, sand hazards, and water features. Hole 9 plays toward a pond with a central fountain just short and left of the green. The 18th is a par 5 whose circular green is guarded by two front bunkers set about five yards apart. The course has hosted the Men's New England Amateur Championship, Charlie's Maine Open, the Men's and Ladies' Maine Amateur Championships, Maine Seniors' tour events, and a Susan G. Komen Rally for a Cure event. A practice range adjacent to the ninth fairway is available before, after, or between rounds. Two practice greens behind the clubhouse support putting and chipping with on-demand lighting. Golf lessons can be arranged through the Golf Shop. The dining room seats 90 and features low lighting, fine linens, and a view of the practice greens. Augusta Country Club is a popular round among Hole19 golfers in Maine.
