Ashton on Mersey Golf Club

Ashton on Mersey Golf Club, founded in 1897, is an 18-hole, par-71 semi-private course in Sale, England. The layout runs alongside the River Mersey and Stromford Brook, with trees, bunkers, and elevated greens shaping play throughout the round. The club holds the R&A Women in Golf Charter. Two holes were redesigned in winter 2012/13. Hole 4 is a tree-lined par three with three new bunkers. Hole 13 shares the same tree-lined, three-bunker design, but plays from an elevated tee set back 215 yards. Hole 3 is the course's hardest hole, a long par four that demands distance off the tee. The clubhouse bar features a semi-circle layout, a well-stocked selection, and an open-air balcony overlooking the course. A dining area serves a variety of snacks and meals. Additional facilities include a Ladies Lounge, Sky TV, and changing rooms.
