Åre Golfklubb

Hole 18 at Åre Golfklubb is frequently cited as one of Sweden's most beautiful golf holes — a short par 3 played from elevated tees overlooking the Indalsälven river, with a small inlet sitting directly in front of the green. That closing hole sets the tone for what the 18-hole layout delivers throughout: consistent river exposure, forest and parkland terrain, water hazards, and stretches of bog that demand accurate placement. Hole 8 is another par 3 with the Indalsälven running along the left side, beaver tracks visible below the tee. Hole 9 rounds out the front nine with a challenging drive and open views over the river and surrounding mountains. The course hosts Åre Golfvecka, an annual event held from July 27 to August 2. The clubhouse includes a pro shop stocked with everything needed for the round, a golf simulator, small café, reception, changing rooms, and a social gathering space.
