Angostura Golf & Country Club

Angostura Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course located in the O'Higgins Region of Chile, built on former riverbed terrain once shaped by the Río Peuco. The layout features five large water hazards and two island greens, making water a constant factor throughout the round. Fairways are cut in the Arizona style, a design choice that keeps the course playable for higher handicappers while still demanding precision from lower-scoring players. Native low-growth tree species line the course, and dense native woodland borders the perimeter. In certain areas, the old riverbed origins show through in a dry, arid character that contrasts with the course's otherwise green playing surfaces — a balance that gives Angostura its distinctive look.
